Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:
Dark purplish-red color fills the
glass as you pour the wine.
Initially the nose is closed in not
wanting to offer its hidden
treasures. Swirling the glass pushes
cedar, driftwood, briar and
blackberry aromas forward. You
notice the heavy legs streaming down
the side of the glass. Your palate
fills with bramble fruits, brown
spice and toasted mocha beans. There
is a thin veil of tannins that coat
and hold the lingering finish of
humidor, sweet nut and roasted
coffee flavors. This wine will
continue to develop with aging and
reward the collector.

Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:
Unusually dark for a Merlot.
Vanilla and roasted nuts work their
way out of the glass without any
coaxing. Sweetbrier, rose petal and
Bing cherry notes come along with
gentle agitation. Significant legs
on the side of the glass impress and
pull you towards your first taste.
The wine’s structure provides a
showcase for anise and denser
raspberry to tingle your sensations.
Light tannins frame the long sweet
finish of toast and black stone
fruits. Proper bottle aging will
enhance and reward your experience
for many years.

Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:
The first thing you notice is the
deep purple color. It reminds me of
blackberry compote it is so dark.
The color is followed by the jammy
aromas brooding from the rim of the
glass. Swirling entices woodruff,
cedar and spice to follow the fruit
forward nose. The first sensation to
hit the tip of your tongue is the
sweetness of the fruit without the
wine actually being sweet. Then the
flavors pour over the rest of your
palate giving hints of the four
varietals that gives the wine its
soul. You can sense the power of the
Cabernet Sauvignon and how it is
balanced by raspberry and cherry
notes from the Merlot. The anise and
nutmeg of the Cabernet Franc lead to
the blueberry and peppery finish
from the Syrah. The whole wine is
tied together from the oak aging and
gives great pleasure and versatility
with a wide variety of game.

Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:
Deep crimson color invites you to sample the aromas
of dark coffee with roasted hazelnut and mocha. Swirling
the glass coaxes vanilla and black plum notes that lure
you to take your first taste. Toffee and cedar give way
to toasted vanilla and dark fruit flavors as the wine
warms in your palate. Firm but fine tannins showcase
sweet mocha and toasted spice in the lingering finish.
You are seduced into an encore swirl and taste to relive
the experience and uncover more aromas and flavors.

Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:
Garnet and crimson color splashes into the glass as
you pour the wine. Scents of grandiflora rose petals are
followed by earthen dust and red raspberry. Swirling the
glass encourages dark cherry and orchard fresh fruit
aromas to liberate. The first taste reveals an excellent
structure to hang floral, caramel and forest floor
flavors onto. Framed by fine tannins, tobacco and cedar
and caramel notes linger and give way to toasted vanilla
in the long finish. Continued cellaring will enhance the
wine’s aromatic and flavorful development rewarding the
discerning connoisseur.

Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:
Examination after pouring in the glass shows an impenetrable color core
with a brickish dark edge. You can start to smell the vanilla, cherry, rose
petal aromas without even swirling the glass. Aeration provides additional
notes of woodruff and raspberry. The sweet vanilla flavors disrobe to
reveal tobacco, cherry and blackberry surrounded by refined tannins.
Sufficient acidity piques each flavor of red fruit as the long finish
subsides leaving a sweetness on your pallet. The acidity and the tannins
will provide sufficient structure for the wine cellar gracefully.
